oh thx.. btw my l4d when i host.. it keep emitting this static sound... but when i join other ppl's game it does not. my game is a skulptura.i dl it as my official version is too updated to play wif others.

l am getting these weird messages from the developer's console.. please help solve.. whenever l load a versus map it shows purple and black boxes (this applies to only some of the maps in versus) .. any solutions?

Error codes:
Mission Manager:Mission file "missions/airport_vs.txt" is missing name and version.
and etc. there's like 7 more of these.. different maps.

What shall l do to solve it? Thanks in advance!

There is 2 ways to fix this..u can type in the console  snd_audiocacherebuild or go to google and search for l4d soundfix skullptura

ive installed patch 1015 but for some reason when i start the game from garena after the intro vids, it stay for a sec at the main menu and then it simply exits to desktop. ive installed standalone and have the correct bootstrap paremeters so i dont know what im missing. any can help?

Hi exglade.
i am unable to view the links for the standalone patch and the updates. It says something about my user group not having enough reading access. Could you please clarify? I'm sure im not alone.

I'm also encountering the same problem as Tiucaner, last week I played l4d with my friends and it's still working but after I've patched it to 1.0.1.5 and used stand alone 1.23.3 every time I use it with garena it exits to desktop after the video. the games works perfectly though when garena is inactive

so far I've tried to disable multicore rendering but still encounters the same problem.

I'm having a connection problem and that's the only thing I haven't tried, but I'm not sure how do do that.

When trying to join servers from Garena Fire:
Server using '<none>' lobbies, requiring pw no, lobby id (########)
I'm using the latest Garena with L4D V 1.0.1.5, running on Windows 7.

When I try to directly join a server by IP I get the following in the console:
Retrying public(xxx.xxx.xx.xx:xxxxx)
Sending UDP connect to public IP xxx.xxx.xx.xx:xxxxx


Any ideas?

I just instaled the 1.0.1.5 patch from your updates list and it sayis no permision to run l4d.Was fine before it.
I tried adding my old crack but the game just crashes at start and i need to restart my pc..
So any ideas?

hi i have a problem with keys for plugins i accidently bind the key for other plugins while feature !tankbuster is 1~7 i binded between the keys when i want to use the feature it can't work i want to know how to make the way it is normal like any other l4d  like refresh the keys (tried deafuly key but it won't work"for example

i type !tankbuster then menu show up when i try to press 7 (where i tried to make unbind of that keys) it won't work it was like the key had nothing to do.

i update left 4 dead 1.0.1.5R4 and  Standalone+1.23.3  before i play to left 4 dead in garena has auto close the game or server browser but offline single play has no problem    pls help me fix the problem

i had installed an mod on my l4d   but this mod cannot be removed from my l4d , the only thing i need  its to change the color of the screen when playing as a infeted ( normally its an orange screen , but mine its green =/)
do you guys know how do i change back  my infeted screen to it's normal color  without reinstalling the game?
